We choose how to work together
Inside & Out
Outer Work
Training that builds strength, muscle and mobility.
Your programme is built around your body and your goals, so you feel stronger in your sport, your dance or simply your daily life.
Inner Work
Your relationship with food, stress and your body.
We build habits that make the changes last and you learn to fuel yourself well for everything you do.
Hi, I’m Angela
Certified Personal Trainer and movement researcher.
I help you get into great shape: stronger, leaner and more mobile. Along the way, we improve your relationship with your body and with food.
So many of us use food to soothe stress. I’m trained in somatic work and the nervous system, so I help you notice how you respond to stress, and any emotional eating patterns. Together, we interrupt those patterns and change them. What you learn carries into the rest of your life, but the body is a great place to start.
My coaching takes a hybrid approach to physical training: strength, mobility and conditioning. Alongside it: nutrition, habit change and accountability. I keep you on track until your habits become automatic. Sustainable fat loss. Habits that last.
At 41, I’m in my physical peak. My own recomposition was self-guided and took a few years and along the way it connected with everything I’d studied previously about the nervous system and dance. I feel more energised, powerful and alive than ever, and I move across a range of movement disciplines with ease. Strength buys me the time and resilience to dance, move and play for as long as possible. I’d love to help you do the same.
Discipline is the doorway to freedom.
Frequently Asked Questions

Muscle is your body’s engine. From our 30s we lose roughly 3 to 8% of our muscle each decade. Less muscle means your body burns less calories. That’s why what used to keep your weight steady often stops working as you get older. For women it matters even more: from perimenopause, muscle and bone density drop faster. Strength training is one of the best ways to protect both. Rather than chasing “skinny”, our aim is to build strong, fit, capable bodies that keep you moving, dancing and living well for decades.

It is a transformation which leads to less fat and more muscle. It isn’t possible to turn fat into muscle, as they are different tissues. So we work on burning fat and building muscle, sometimes at the same time and sometimes in separate phases. So you get leaner and stronger. Muscle is denser than fat, so the scales can move slowly even while you’re making progress. Your plan will depend on where you are now, how long you’ve been strength training and what your goal is.
-
It’s a hybrid training system. We use hypertrophy (the muscle-building part of bodybuilding), leave out the extreme, unhealthy parts, and combine it with mobility, conditioning, bodyweight and dance principles. The aim is a strong, balanced, agile body.
-
Training to grow muscle. Done well, it’s what gives you strength and shape. We agree on your goal first, then build your programme around it.

Somatic work means experiencing your body from within. With an internal focus: noticing sensations, emotions, stress or anxiety, and old patterns, including trauma, that the body holds. Learning to listen to your body’s cues is one of the most important things you can do for your health. We spend so much time thinking, analysing and controlling, when we also need to listen, recover well, and make time to play and explore. A resilient nervous system lets you experience and enjoy life more. It relates directly to your food and your training, so it’s an essential part of your success.
-
No. We build awareness around your food habits, and a balanced, healthy relationship with food that fuels an active, creative life. No special diet like keto: you have flexibility over how you eat.
-
There’s more structure at the start, to build good habits until they become automatic and you find a consistent rhythm. Once automated, habits stop feeling like an effort. You’ll still keep an eye on things, like tracking your food again for a few days if you drift, so you can get back on track when life gets busy. The aim is for your new way of life to become embodied and no longer thought about, creating more space for other challenges. Discipline is the doorway, not the destination.

In person or online. We can work on all three areas together (training, food, and stress and emotions) or focus deeply on one or two. It depends on your goals and needs.
